Bowling Pin Shoots
Good practice fun competition, each shooter competes against a fellow shooter with the winner advancing in the winner’s bracket and the runner-up going to the runner-up bracket. Shooting continues until a final winner emerges. We have three separate rounds with elimination, each shooter starts at low ready loaded with six rounds, there are six pins on a table approximately twenty-one feet from the shooter. The first shooter to clear the table advances to shoot against the other winners in elimination until we have one winner for that round.
Any caliber is acceptable 22, 38, 40, 44, 45, 357 semi-auto or revolver, the first magazine is limited to six rounds but shooters load additional magazines to capacity. Twenty-two shooters have the benefit of placing the pins on the back of the table. The cost for all three rounds is $7 for non-club members and we ask for a $5 donation from WP&R club members. Typically shooters need approximately fifty rounds.
We start at 12:45 pm with a mandatory safety briefing, check the club calendar for dates.
