No restrictions on the

No restrictions on the calibers, however It is harder to knock a bowling pin off a table with a 22 handgun.

Personally, i use a 44 magnum revolver :)

Women shoot free.This year

Women shoot free.
This year in an attempt to get a few more women to the pin shoot there will be no charge for them.
We ask for a $5 donation from members and charge $7 for non-members.
The money goes into the clubs general funds.

Brief description:

2 tables are set up next to each other with 6 pins on each table.
21 feet away are the 2 shooters loaded with 6 rounds. 2nd magazine may be loaded to maximum.
At the signal, shooters attempt to clear the table. First one with all the pins off the table is declared the winner.
Once everyone has shot, we repeat with the winners against the winners and the losers against the losers.
This eventually yields a winner in each bracket with all it's glory and bragging rights.

We shoot 3 rounds so everyone gets to shoot at least 6 times.
We usually have about 10 participants and the match lasts a couple hours.
After the shoot is a chance to show off your firearms and often get a chance to fire someone elses.
Mini grudge matches have also been known to pop up and some times rifles just happen to be in the trunk of shooters
cars and make their appearence. It's a great way to make new friends and shoot other firearms.
John and I look forward to another fun season and hope to make many new friends.
